Obama to see Afghan, Pakistan leaders in May-official

President Barack Obama will hold White House talks early next month with the presidents of Afghanistan and Pakistan, a U.S. official said on Wednesday amid escalating violence in the region.Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will meet separately with Obama and all three leaders will then sit down together in Washington on May 6 and 7, the official said.Obama last month unveiled a new war strategy for Afghanistan with the aim of crushing al Qaeda and Taliban militants there and also operating from across the border in Pakistan.(Reuters)
