Survey Places Bhim Singh on Top in Kashmir Lok Sabha Election

Professor Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP accompanied by Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA and State President and several other leaders today visited the Udhampur bazaar, talking to voters.
A survey conducted by prominent journalist, Mr. P.K. Ganjoo revealed that Professor Bhim Singh, the Panthers Party candidate, maintains a lead over his nearest rival, BJP, in all six Districts of Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency namely, Kishtwar, Ramban, Doda, Reasi, Udhampur and Kathua.
The study team of journalists said Congress candidate, Mr. Lal Singh, a sitting M.P. was in third place.
There appears to be a universal feeling among the voters to send Professor Bhim Singh to the Parliament, in light of his 50 year struggle, jail and suffering at the hands of successive governments.
Prof. Bhim Singh is a highly qualified and experienced Parliamentarian who received his Masters Degree in Law from London University. He is also a human rights advocate, a journalist and profile author of several books on Jammu and Kashmir, Iraq, Palestine, Yugoslavia.
Professor Bhim Singh is a product of various student movements, which earned him stays in jail 54 times, adding up to a total of more than eight years.
